notice from plugin Warm-cache: Your configured sitemap url ( http://www.mydomainname.com/sitemap_index.xml ) is configured, but does not appear to contain an xml opening tag, or a combination of urlset or sitemap, I cannot crawl your pages. Please check your sitemap plugin to fix your currupt sitemap.
The sitemap is good. I am using WP 4.42 and the most recent warm cache revision. Do you have a solution?
I am getting the exact same thing.
I tried deactivating it,and activate it again to see if it made any difference…it did not.
I deleted it,and made sure nothing was left behind after deleting it,but upon installing it again,I got the same message.
I am using Yoast, and it seems to be working ok.
The first time that I installed it and got the message,I manually typed the sitemap into Warm Cache, and it created the key.
I contacted my hosting support, and they set the Cron Job up for me,which has been working.
I too, am using WP 4.4.2 as well as the most recent warm cache revision.
Upon re-installing it,I got the warning message, even before doing anything!I then manually entered the sitemap, and it created exactly the same key/url as before.
Any idea why I keep getting the warning message, that I cannot get rid of?
What does the warning tell you ? (copy paste it please)
Here is the warning message that will not go away, even if I deactivate, and delete the plugin, and then re-install it.
A notice from plugin Warm-cache: Your configured sitemap url ( http://www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com /sitemap_index.xml )**** is configured, but does not appear to contain an xml opening tag, or a combination of urlset or sitemap, I cannot crawl your pages. Please check your sitemap plugin to fix your currupt sitemap.
Note: this check will be cached for 2 minutes. So if you fix the problem, this notice might still be present for 2 minutes.
Error detail: No xml opening tag
NOTE:**** xxxxxxxxxxx denotes where my domain name would actually be displayed as in the original warning message.
The site is still being developed, and I do not want to display it on a publicly accessible site.
Hi Rick, do sent me that sitemap index url by mail: advertentie at creativepulses.nl
